Easy Pecan Pie

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade) by placing it in a pie dish and gently crimping the edges. –

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of corn syrup, 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Add the Pecans: Stir in 1 1/2 cups of chopped pecans into the filling mixture. You can leave some whole pecans for a decorative topping if desired.

Pour the Filling into the Crust: Carefully pour the pecan mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.–

Bake the Pie: Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.

Cool the Pie: Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours, allowing the filling to set.

Serve and Enjoy: Slice and serve your easy pecan pie with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!
